Hello and welcome to my website!
My journey into photography began when I took it as an elective while in design school. I did not take it seriously over the years. I only took this up in earnest when my daughters presented me a carbon fiber tripod during the pandemic. They forced me out of the house to use it after things got better. That's when I rediscovered the joys of seeing the world through the lens once again.
My professional life as an Architect takes most of my time, and photography is the best way to unwind after a day at work. As someone once said, "a bad day behind the lens is still better than the best day at work."
I am based in San Diego, CA, one of the best places to experience sunsets over the Pacific Ocean. I also enjoy traveling around the world meeting wonderful people and seeing interesting places.
Some photos in the Architecture collection are taken on film many years ago and scanned using a Nikon scanner. My current gear is a Nikon Z8 with Nikkor zooms (ranging from 14 to 200) and use a prime lens for portraits.
